Our Doukhobour Choir of Family and Friends
The "Family Of Friends" is a newly formed Doukhobor choir, and is a culmination of generations gathering together for the enjoyment of singing in the traditional Doukhobor acapella style.
They sing the hymns of their forefathers and songs that encompass their beliefs - belief in God and their stand for peace, as well as a sprinkling of Russian folk songs.
The Doukobor Choir of Family and Friends will lead us in chanting 24 oms which is the recommended daily chanting for teachers. They will also sing a song of peace in Russian and English.
